The idea of this bag come from a requirement my wife had for her extensive travel schedule. Because she almost always travels with carry-on bags exclusively, she needed a bag that would compress and shape to the contents of the bag. This allows the bag to take up as little space as possible.
This meant the bag could not be constructed with anything that wouldn’t flex and shape with ease. Therefore, I used fusible interfacing on both the main fabric and the lining. For the main fabric we used Fleece; for the lining Medium Fashion Interfacing. This added enough support so the bag is strong enough to hold it’s form
